College Station Monthly Summary: April 2012

College Station experienced well above normal temperatures for the month of April with the average temperature 4.5oF above normal. The month was lacking on rainfall as well with only 0.57" inches of rain falling, the majority of which fell on the 3rd and 4th from the same system that brought a tornado outbreak to North Texas. Although the rainfall this month was lacking overall, College Station sits 9.40" above normal rainfall for the year, enough to remove Brazos County completely from drought conditions for the first time since October 2010.
