College Station Monthly Summary: May 2002
This past May, the Brazos Valley experienced warmer than normal temperatures, with many near records being set. There were also experienced unseasonably low temperatures on several days with the passage of a cold front on the 17th. Unfortunately, the rain gauges remained mostly dry with only 0.89" of rain, well below normal. The rain deficit rose to 10.43" this year, increasing more than four inches during the month of May.
